Erica Nedley is a physical therapist and emotional intelligence advocate who has coordinated the annual Emotional Intelligence Summit since 2010. She played a key role in creating the Optimize Your Brain and GoEQ curricula and brings years of experience in health education, parenting, and curriculum development to the team.

Erica Nedley immigrated to the United States from Communist Romania in 1980. After graduating with a degree in Physical therapy in 1986, she practiced physical therapy and traveled around the U.S. and internationally with her husband, Neil Nedley, M.D. promoting a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition and cooking instruction. She has been instrumental in organizing the yearly Emotional Intelligence Summits since 2010 for Nedley Health Solutions. Erica has been involved in developing and publishing the Optimize your Brain series and authoring the “Brighten up Breakfast” cookbook. As a mother of four boys and now four granddaughters, much of her time has been spent applying principles of the emotional intelligence curriculum.  So, it was natural, when the Pacific Judicial Council approached Dr. Nedley to create a classroom curriculum for grades 1-12, entitled Optimize your Brain, that Erica whole heartly embraced the project, formed a team, and dedicated herself to coordinate, supervise, edit, and help produce the curriculum.  After a very successful piloting of the program, a new curriculum, now named “GoEQ” has been developed under her direction.
